I realized as I looked over the list of recipes that I have yet to feature a dessert – the outrage!
Despite it being the month of January when every other person is seemingly on a diet, we all have to indulge our sweet tooth sometimes. Enjoying a bit of a culinary ‘cheat’ helps keep you on track the rest of the time. So without further ado, I give you the simple yet indulgent recipe for Graham Cracker Squares. This one is a bit messy but delicious!
INGREDIENTS
- 24 Graham crackers
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup salt-free butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
METHOD
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease cookie sheet and line with the Graham crackers. Melt brown sugar and butter in a saucepan. Bring to boil and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and when mix stops boiling, stir in chopped pecans. Spread quickly over crackers.
Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
